OMNI Systems, one of the largest privately owned label manufacturers focused exclusively on pressure sensitive label printing, has appointed Mike Cook as chief operating officer (COO), effective January 30.

Cook brings over 25 years of experience in driving operational efficiency, growth, and innovation to OMNI’s executive leadership team. Cook’s background in leading global operations, coupled with his extensive experience in optimizing manufacturing operations and fostering collaborative environments, will play a pivotal role as OMNI continues its rapid growth and expansion.

“Mike is a proven leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for continuous improvement,” OMNI CEO Adam DeFrancesco states. “His track record of innovation and driving growth makes him an important addition to our team as we execute our long-term strategy. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and expertise he will bring to OMNI.”

As COO, Cook will oversee strategic initiatives to enhance OMNI’s operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive overall performance.

“I have admired OMNI Systems for many years, and I am proud to be part of this team to drive growth, customer intimacy, and improved efficiencies,” says Cook.

Following the acquisitions of ITW Labels and Honeywell Media and the grand opening of its Print Center of Excellence, OMNI has tripled its production capacity and implemented new innovations, including Mark Andy’s Performance Series P7 and a fully integrated in-house platemaking department. To support the company’s current growth trajectory, OMNI is hiring across multiple areas of the company, from business operations to manufacturing.
